Prefilled data may be out of date

Some tools prefill reference figures such as state property-tax rates, home values, insurance averages, and government loan parameters. These are planning defaults tied to a specific vintage — listed on our Data Sources page — and remain fully editable. Always verify current figures for your own situation with the relevant lender, insurer, or government agency.
